With this brush, my dogs don’t fight me when it’s time to be brushed. Normally I’m having to chase them and tempt them with treats. When I push the button on the back and they hear that click noise, they come running. My dogs will let me brush them all over, but the stomach area. I have 3 dogs and all 3 loves this brush. I have 2 short haired dogs and this brush really does get all that loose fur. I have 1 long haired dog and I’m able to get mats out and brush all of her fur so much easier. The bristles are long enough to actually get deep in her fur and allow me to get a full brushing for her. When it comes to cleaning out, just push the button in the back and the fur lifts. Depending on which dog I brush, I may have to push on it several times to get all of the fur to be completely at the tip of the bristles. Usually that is with my short haired dogs, the long haired, not so much. Great brush .
